This is such a pretty dress! The pattern is a little loud, but the nice, navy color makes it perfect. The price? Not sure where that came from. This is a nice (not cheap) polyester spandex fabric that sells for $2 -$4 dollars per yard at the L.A. fabric markets. SO...not sure why on earth it is priced at nearly $100. I picked up 3 other maxi dresses on Amazon recently ...made of the same blend of fabric and just as nice in material and construction. They were all in the $35 range. I am only keeping this one because it is worth it to me to have found a long dress I love...even though the price still makes me wince. I can sew, so I am truly familiar with the markup. Since I just had a baby, time is a problem. Therefore, I'm keeping it.Some of the other reviews mention it is sized large, which is true. I am usually a size 4 in this style of dress. I bought a 6 to accommodate the extra baby weight, and could have probably fit snugly in the 4. That's 25 pounds of extra me fitting in this dress. I would say the 6 is sized more like an 8/10. Because the material is stretchy and the style can accommodate several inches up or down in size, I'll keep it... and take it in if necessary, after I lose the weight. I'm guessing the 6 will still look fine, just looser...not baggy. For your info, my present measurements are 38.5 bust, 30.5 waist, 41 hips. And, I'm 5 ft 8". The dress length on me brushes the floor. Great with heels. A little long for flats, but doable.
